Long Description:
In Cambridge, in Harvard Square, on top of the Holyoke Center are a series of wind turbines. These turbines were installed in 2009 as a visible sign of Harvard University's commitment to becoming a greener campus. The wind turbines are rated at 1 kilowatt, each, which is not much, and it is likely that this installation will never pay for itself. However, this, plus other measures will help Harvard attain its goal of attaining reducing its power consumption by 30% (see the College Sustainability Report Card link, below).

The six turbines were made by AeroVironment.
