Captain John Long

Captain Long a veteran of the Revolutionary War later became a judge in Missouri. He was born in 1755 and lived until he was 70. In this small cemetery there are graves for veterans of many wars, 3 Revolutionary War , 5 War of 1812, 2 Mexican War, 3 Civil War, and 1 World War I. This cemetery was originally called Long Cemetery.
