This is a very large bronze sculpture of a teacher with two children. The woman is sitting in a chair, with a book in her lap. The young girl is standing to the woman's right, and is looking up at the teacher while her hands touch the book. The boy is sitting on the ground, to the teacher's left. There is a large upright wagon wheel behind the woman .
The sculpture is placed on top of a raised concrete area, with bricks around the bottom and top edges of the platform.
This sculpture is located near downtown Norman, an area of town packed with historical buildings and sites.
