A new Chili's Bar and Grill restaurant will open in Henrietta on March 1, 2010.

The location at 100 Marketplace Drive near the Regal Theatres will be the third for the chain in the Rochester area, according to franchise owner John Kendall.

Kendall owns two other local Chili's, one in Greece that opened in 1993 and another that opened in Victor in 1995. "I've been in the restaurant business for 44 years," he said.
Kendall said the new Chili's would offer the chain's familiar Tex-Mex cuisine but that décor will be distinctive.

"There will be lots of marketing and advertising as we come closer to the date," he said.
The store will hire an estimated 150 people and the employment screening has begun.
