In 1997, the town, with the help of several partners, built a new multi-purpose facility on Quarry property. The adjoining facility, named the Lind Sportsplex, is used for curling in the winter months, shuffle board in the summer months, etc.
The curling club has 4 sheets and a variety of programs from children to seniors.
