Heading North from this trailhead will lead the hiker into Cook Forest State Park.
Heading South from this trailhead a hiker has an approximately 3 1/2 mile hike through beautiful Pennsylvania hardwoods and a secluded section of the Clarion River that has been designated as a component of the National Wild and Scenic Rivers System. The end of this section is at the Highland Drive Trailhead.
