Nearby is Crossland Fosse which was built in 1889. Moorland is a similar style built in the same Victorian period. There is little on the history of this property apart from the fact that Mrs Carpenter was living here in 1912 as reported here: (visit link)

In 1924 a C.W. Phipps has some items for sale from the property: (visit link)

The house has some fine brickwork and chimneys and stands overlooking the Bedfordshire countryside.
