This statue is found on a high point overlooking the small city of Songkhla. Songkhla being the capital of the Songkhla province of southern Thailand. The statue is the centrepiece of an extensive and well maintained park.
I know nothing of this Prince, but what is available on the sign on the road leading to his statue (in the gallery). He was the governor of southern Thailand in the early 20th century. An important command, at that time Siam (as Thailand was then known) faced the threat of the British expansionism from the Malay states.
The prince is depicted life-sized, standing, in military dress, on a high plinth. Most likely the statue is composed of bronze. There is a biographical plaque on the plinth.
