Origionaly the Stone Jetty was used by day trippers coming over from Katikati. After falling into disrepair the Waihi branch of the Lions Club spent 10 years restoring the jetty finishing the project in 1990. An ideal spot in Anzac Bay to tie up small craft. A small walk is required to the public toilets and parking area. In December the Pohutakawa trees (New Zealand Christmas Tree) are in bloom. These trees surround the jetty with their large trunks overhanging the banks.
