In the left corner is a news paper from 1926. In the foreground is a 1924 Mclaughlin Buick. In the background we see the Oshawa Carriage Works and the workers and on the other side the Queen's hotel. In the smaller mural on the left is depicted historic Sydenham Harbour.

This montage presents images of Oshawa's development including
the historic Sydenham Harbour and the Oshawa Carriage Works, the
factory operated by the McLaughlin Carriage Company, forerunner
of General Motors of Canada. Also depicted are a 1924 McLaughlin
Buick, a 1926 newspaper headline and the original Queen's Hotel,
established in 1874.
