NJGS 5 D 2 2000 is a New Jersey Geodetic Survey survey disk located in a playground at the intersection of North Street and Haven Ave in the northeast section of Ocean City, Cape May County, NJ. The disk is mounted flush in a drill hole at the northeast corner of the concrete pad that supports the only open-air picnic shelter in the playground. The shelter is located near the fence that runs along the southeast side of the playground, and about equidistant from the fences that run along the northeast and southwest sides. The disk was monumented by the New Jersey Geodetic Survey in 2000, and it is stamped 5 D 2. It is in the National Geodetic Survey database at PID = AM6985 (

To reach from the intersection of State Route 52 (East 9th Street) and Wesley Avenue in downtown Ocean City, go northeast on Wesley Avenue for about 0.96 miles to the intersection with North Street. Turn left and go northwest on North Street for about 0.2 miles to the playground on the left. From the gate in the chain link fence along North Street, pack southwest for about 160 feet to the picnic shelter and the survey disk in the northeast corner of the concrete pad.
