The modern ferry terminal in port of Bastia is the most important naval transportation hub (especially for tourists with cars from continental Europe) in island Corsica. The terminal serves for ferries of several companies (Moby Lines, Corsica Ferries, SNCM, CMN) and links Bastia with the harbours in France and Italy.
Port of Bastia is modest in its features (surface of water plan about 140 500 m², surface of platform about 104 800 m²) but important by traffic: here is 2 300 calls a year, 2 200 000 transported passengers, 2 400 000 tons of freight and transferred 753 000 cars.
