DESCRIBED BY NORTH CAROLINA GEODETIC SURVEY 1977 (LFS) THE STATION, RED SPRINGS LUMBER RIVER RUAL ELECTRIC ASSOCIATION RADIO MAST, IS THE RED LIGHT ON TOP OF MAST APPROXIMATELY 350 FEET TALL, TRIANGULAR STRUCTURE MADE OF ANGLE STEEL. THE STATION IS LOCATED 2.1 MILES EAST-SOUTHEAST OF RED SPRINGS. TO REACH STATION FROM MAIN STREET AND FOURTH AVENUE IN RED SPRINGS, PROCEED 2.0 MILES SOUTHEAST ALONG NC 211 TO SR 1505, THENCE NORTHEAST ALONG SR 1505 FOR 0.6 MILE TO INTERSECTION WITH SR 1774, THENCE SOUTHEAST ALONG SR 17774 FOR 0.1 MILE TO STATION ON LEFT APPROXIMATELY 250 FEET NORTHEAST OF HIGHWAY.
