Lincoln Park is located along the east side of the OKC Zoo Lake and is a popular fishing spot. There are literally hundreds of picnic tables here, and it's a very nice woodsy and shaded area. There is one very small playground located in the middle of the park. The drive is circular and heads south along the lake before circling around the park and heading back north towards 50th St.
An OKC fishing permit and state fishing license are required in order to fish at Zoo Lake. No boats are allowed, and more regulations can be seen in the photo gallery.
This is a really nice place to walk around and view the zoo and enjoy the lake. In the summer months you can watch the zoo paddleboaters having fun.
This park used to be the site of the drive-thru Zoo Christmas lights, but they no longer hold that event.
