After many wild fires burned the remaining movietown ranch structures in 1978, the land sold off to Bob Hope for housing development. The frontier town and much of the park acreage is a local public park.

Corriganville was touted as "One of the most interesting places in America to visit." and the "Gateway to a day of fun, thrills, and relaxation in the 'Old Western Tradition'." Most of the Range Busters films were shot here, as well as features like Fort Apache.
RATED AMONG THE TOP TEN MOST INTERESTING PLACES IN AMERICA" Crash Corrigan suggests: to get the most out of your holiday at Corriganville, start the day early and BRING YOUR CAMERAS. Have fun --So read the headlines and footlines from a Corriganville flyer of the 1950s era that enticed young-at-heart and the-younger-yet from all around the world to Ray "Crash" Corrigan's dream movie ranch. There were many "Things to see . . . and things to do!" When you visited Corriganville.
The ranch was open to the public Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, with bus service at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. from 1735 N. Cahuenga, in Hollywood. Admission was $1.00 for adults, 50¢ for children, with special rates for large group picnics. Overnight camping was available and guided tours during movie filming were offered. Ride through California's most beautiful countryside you can see movie sets, Silvertown, Fort Apache, Robin Hood Lake and Forest . . . and be entertained all day Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays.
