Located on a quiet street is this memorial to the memory of fallen soldiers from 'The northern Fremantle districts'. The monument consists of a south facing soldier, atop a plinth, with a combined height of approximately 7m. On the four sides of the plinth are inscriptions referring to both world wars. Behind the statue is a small park "War Memorial Park".
Google maps places my waymark in the middle of Queen Victoria St, however, the monument stands on the northern side intersection of Queen Victoria Street and Harvest Rd.
