Bryce Canyon is a relatively small national park located in southwest Utah, but it is big in amazing natural rock formations. Inside the amphitheater of the Paunsaugunt Plateau are thousands of limestone "hoodoos" reaching up towards the sky. These hoodoos of various shapes, colors, and sizes combined with the ever changing sun and cloud position provide a different landscape every minute of the day.

An 18 mile long scenic drive from the north end of the park to the south tip provides numerous different lookouts into various parts of the amphitheater. The northern end has great views of the hoodoos while the southern end offers more expansive views of the canyon. Several hiking trails of various lengths descend down into the amphitheater and also along the perimeter of the gorge. The Bryce Canyon Lodge as well as several campgrounds offer accommodations within the park.
