This memorial is placed in a very prominent place in Benson, just up the street from the visitors center, making it hard for anyone visiting Benson to miss.

In honor and memory of our men and women in our armed forces who rendered service to our country during wartime and peacetime at home and overseas.
We must never forget those who gave their lives for our country.
Who Put it Here?: City of Benson
Description of Memorial: A new memorial, it displays a bronze plaque for each branch of the service. The inscription is on a tall granite block, and has benches off to the side where one can sit and reflect on the meaning of this memorial. In front of the memorial block is a flagpole. The area around the monument has one of the few patches of grass in downtown Benson, and is surrounded with a metal fence. There is plenty of convenient parking nearby.
