The ram is the symbol of Derby and this sculpture sits proudly in the city's shopping centre.
The Ram, made of concrete, is approximately 6 & 1/2 feet tall. It is a modern piece with a bubbly style and very bold. It is located on pedestrianised junction of East Street and Albion Street, Derby City Centre - in a busy shopping area; shops overlooking The Ram are The Co-Op Department Store, Co-Op Travel and HMV. As it is in a pedestrianised zone and on flat ground, The Ram is easily accessible.
