After arriving at the parking coordinates the lake shore is only a short walk away with bass, bluegill, catfish and crappie being the main offerings from this 12,000 plus acre impoundment. To reach from the intersection of NC 50 and NC 98 proceed east on NC 98 for approximately two miles then right on Six Forks Rd for one mile and parking on the right after crossing a bridge.
