Purple Junk Man - Egg Harbor City, NJ - Abstract Public Sculptures on Waymarking.com

This is one of nine really cool sculptures. This one is probably one of the most plain and simple, yet, in its simplicity, it conveys humor, especially since his head is a muffler. The legs are purple pipes with white polka dots and the feel are made out of rotors. The torso looks like an old fuse box or tool kit and the hands appear to be music stands. With gorgeous eyes, this is one attractive critter.

Peterson's Garage is a local business located on a remote section of the White Horse Pike (Rt. 30). It seems there are several garages and part businesses all very close to this one and all boasting their own original sculptures. These sculptures were made by mechanic and resident artist, Tom Peterson.
