Located in the cobblestone edge of the Causeway the plaque reads as follows:
'HARROLD BRIDGE and CAUSEWAY
repaired by BEDFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
1986 - 1992.'

This is a good footpath to walk above the river and beside the road between the two villages.
