Monument is located to right of the entrance to the Lowndes County Courthouse. The memorial was placed on Memorial Day 1969 and honors the veterans from Columbus and Lowndes County.

Description of Memorial:
Stone monument with three stones. The center stone being taller is inscribed with an eagle. The monument is located in front of the county courthouse.
