These plaques can be located at the side of the B & Q carpark at Crown Hill Plymouth. There are 6 plaques altogether in close proximity, explaining about the history of the area.
The oldest plaque is the original plaque which was on the reservoir which used to be sited on this spot before the various superstores were built.
The plaque says:

This reservoir was opened on the
11th October 1911
