The Good Book depicts an elderly woman sitting on a bench, reading a book to a young boy and girl. The boy is helping to hold the book, and the girl is looking at the book intently. The woman has her arms around the the two young children sitting to her side. The boy is on her right. His right leg is up, with the foot resting on the bench. his left hand touches the book on the woman's lap. The girl has her left leg crossed over her right, both outstretched and hanging down from the bench. Her left arm is the support under the book. On the left page of the book there are several groupings of 2 animals. On the right side is the ark, clouds, and a dove.
The bronze trio are sitting on a concrete bench with golden colored legs.
This piece of art is in front of Edmond Public School's special services building, at the northwest corner of N. Boulevard and E. Campbell St.
