Centennial Park is located in a quiet neighborhood, but the park has a really fun playground for small children. There is a drinking fountain at the playground, and benches for parents. There is also a big grassy area for the kids to run around on.
text on plaque:
In February 1990, at the request of the Edmond Women's Club, the City Council approved the name "Centennial Park." Centennial Park commemorates the centennial anniversary of the Land Run of 1889. The park was made possible, in part, by a donation from the Edmond Women's Club that purchased playground equipment and picnic tables to complement the varied green space at this location.
