Originally the home of Dr. Sophie Aberle, known as "Measuring Lady" by the Native Americans she worked with, the small, but more than adequate, visitors center has everything needed to help with your visit to the Monument.
From the helpful information the Ranger on duty is happy to dispense, to the carefully stocked sales area it is a pleasant experience. The ever present NPS Passport Station is at the desk.
There is the Junior Ranger Program, and also the new, currently being tested Senior Ranger Program to help you better expereince the Monument.
Hours of Operation: 8 to 5 Daily seven days a week
Closed on: New Years, Thanksgiving, and Christmas
Public Washrooms: Mens and Womens Only
Snacks/Drinks at the facility: No - Look elsewhere
