The Greensboro Presbyterian Church was found in 1823 by Rev. James Hillhouse from South Carolina. Two of the founding elders, Patrick Norris and William Hilhouse were betrans of the American Revolution. The original wooden structure was replaced by a brick building in 1841. This brick building was replaced by the current church building in 1859. The church is well maintained and continues to serve it congregation.
