Erbaut um 1300 - Wehrturm und Gefängnis - Höhe 40 m, Durchmesser 8,63 m, Verlies 2,20 m
1523 wurde Bartholomäus Rieseburg - einer der ersten evangelischen Prediger in Hessen - durch den Landgrafen Philipp im Jungfernturm gefangen gehalten. Seit 1980 ist der Turm ausgebaut und begehbar.
