Elias Chapin was born in Somers, Connecticut and died in Brant, New York where he is buried.

We had to search the cemetery to find the grave site. The other Revolutionary War soldier buried in this cemetery is Samuel Fuller, but all we only found the commemorative sign at the fron of the cemetery. We couldn't find his actual grave.
