It may not be the size of the big halls, seating only 345, and there is no symphony or philharmonic playing on its stage, but that doesn't mean it isn't just as important to the cultural life of this small Utah town as the halls in the major cities.

With a style, though much less elaborate, approximating the style of those designed by Henry Hobson Richardson in Boston, it is a building exuding charm. Inside the modern sound and lighting systems mean the musicians, entertainers and others using the hall can provide the audience with the best they have to offer.

If you're in Moab and are tired of going to the Boston Pops, or New York Philharmonic, check the schedule. You might find the Moab Folk Festival or some other exotic form of entertainment playing, and it may prove to more to your liking.

And if cultural performances aren't your thing, but you're just interested in buildings, it's on the National Register of Historic Places.
