The town of Lisbon, Ohio was founded in 1803. In that same year, Jacob Picking began construction of this building for use as a hotel. Today the restored building stands as part of the Lisbon Historical District on the National Register of Historic Places. The building has been expanded over the years with a larger footprint and a third story, but the original brick is still obvious in the photos.
