Commemorates the soldiers and sailors who died in World War I. Monument was erected and dedicated by Paduke Post 31 of the American Legion. The City of Paducah appropriated $1,950 for the monument and burial grounds, with matching funds appropriated by the McCracken County Fiscal Court. The monument is of a design by sculptor John Paulding, was cast by the American Bronze Company, and erected by the Beasley Monument Company.

The monument is inscribed as follows
