A stone tablet on the wall inside St Mary’s Church, Therfield. The inscription reads:-

THIS TABLET IS PLACED HERE BY THE PEOPLE OF THERFIELD IN PROUD AND GRATEFUL MEMORY OF HER SONS WHO WERE FAITHFUL UNTO DEATH, IN THE GREAT WAR. 1914-1919.

There is an identical tablet in the chapel at Therfield.

In addition to the tablet, the clock on the church tower was placed there to perpetuate their memory.

The dedication was performed by the Reverend H.R. Humphrey on 8th February 1920.
