Riverside Park was developed in 1977 and was renovated in 2004 and 2009 to include two picnic shelters, restrooms, lighted soccer field, playground and green space. A canoe launch and greenway are under construction and scheduled to be completed in late fall or early spring.
Park hours are dawn to dusk and shelter reservations are available by calling Mount Airy Parks and Recreation at 336-786-8313.
