Tiburon is a former railroad town that has been transformed into a charming seacoast village. It was the terminus of the Northwestern Pacific Railroad until 1963.


THIS PALM TREE MARKS THE LOCATION OF THE NORTHWESTERN PACIFIC RAILROAD YARD. FROM APRIL 28, 1884 TO SEPTEMBER 25, 1967 HUNDREDS OF WORKERS TOILED TO KEEP THE RAILROAD AND FERRY BOATS OPERATING.
