Shortly after being built under Sir William Johnson's direction the mill was confiscated as Tory Property. After the war it was sold to Reverend Romeyn who rebuilt and ran the mill for a number of years. Over the years the mill has changed hands several times. Happy Waymarking, Swizzle & Family
