This orphaned bridge is located on SC 79 near Stanton's BBQ. For as long as I can remember this little bridge has sat here.

This small concrete span crosses one the many small creeks that flow through this area. It has been a mystery to me as to why it was built at such an odd angle to the roadway as it exist today. There is no hint of a former roadway except for this bridge as you approach it. Even the terrain behind the bridge as it goes uphill bears no evidence of a former roadway.
