The original church on the location built in 1760 but quickly became to small. A new church was erected a short distance away and the cemetery was placed on the old church property. This is a nice older cemetery which contains some of Johnstown's upper crust from the past. Definitely worth a walk around. The cemetery is next to Johnstown's "Drumm House" on W. Green St.
To find this cemetery take Rt. 30 north out of Fonda and into Johnstown. Turn left onto Rt.29 and head into Johnstown. Follow this down to N. Williams St. and turn right, follow this a 100 feet or so to W. Green St. (2 streets down). Make your right onto W. Green St. and the cemetery is on your left. Happy Waymarking, Swizzle & Family
