The
Wessels Living History Farm a mile south of Interstate 80 exit 353 on Highway 81, includes several pre-WWII tractors collected by the late Dave Wessels.
This JOHN DEERE is out by Highway 81 adjacent to the farm's sign; most of the collection is housed in the "tractor building" across the drive from the 1920s farm site.
The "tractor building" (link is virtual tour) collection includes a "spoke flywheel" 1925 JOHN DEERE D and other significant tractors from the 1920s.
