The flag of Luzern is blue and white divided. The meaning of the colors is lost in history.

The division of the colors is vertical with blue on the pole side, but when the pole has an angle the flag is usually turned so it sometimes appears as horizontally divided with blue on the bottom (even flags of the world is wrong in this respect).
