Olcott Beach Carousel Park located in Olcott, NY is a small park featuring a 1928 style Hershell-Spillman two row carousel. The park also has 5 kiddie rides including this small gondola style ferris wheel. The ferris wheel has 6 cars each capable of holding 4-6 kids. This ferris wheel was originally located at the Whistle Pig in Niagara Falls, NY
The current park is a not-for-profit organization that was started in 1999 to restore a park that was in operation from the 1940's - 1980's. The park reopened in its current form in May 2003.
Besides the vintage carousel and the ferris wheel the other rides are a 1946 Allen Herschell Kiddy Auto / Fire Truck Ride (originally from Olcott), a 1940’s Allen Herschell Sky Fighter, a 1940’s Boat Ride and a 1950’s Rocket Swing Ride. All rides are 25 cents.
