 Marker Text: DEDICATED TO THE GALLANT MEN AND WOMEN OF BLOUNT COUNTY WHO, IN THE SERVICE OF THEIR COUNTRY, MADE THE SUPREME SACRIFICE FOR THE CAUSE OF LIBERTY AND FREEDOM. AS THIS FLAME GLOWS IN THE EYES OF MEN MAY THE MEMORY OF THOSE WHO HAVE DIED FOR FREEDOM GLOW ETERNALLY IN THE HEARTS OF THE LIVING.
