JohnJohns Buckskin is definitely an unusual name. If it wasn't for a brief mention of it on a website I found I would not have been able to waymark this one. I can't find anything on this ones history. The sign painted on a chimney is very difficult to make out on the top yet the bottom is very clear. I parked on the opposite side of the street for the pic where I thought I could get the best view. To find this one follow Rt. 30 North from Johnstown into Gloversville. Turn left onto 29A in Gloversville and stay on this road all the way to the sign. You'll pass by ghost sign #3 on the way. Once you come to a Y section, (Rose St. & West Fulton) you'll see the chimney. I'll continue to try to find out more about this waymark.
