Text of marker:

Miller Alley

Believed to have been named for Lester F. Miller (1840-1922) who came to Pasadena for his health in 1884.  He stayed on to develop a successful real estate business that specialized in subdividing home sites, small ranches and orange groves for the rapidly growing population of Pasadena.  Miller was a chater member of the First Baptist Church.
