Edenvale Garden Park is the location of what used to be Frontier Village, an amusement park for children with a wild west theme.
Frontier Village no longer exists, but several birdhouses have been created within the park, that mark the spot and have the theme of the ride or building that used to be at that location.
The old Main Street of Frontier Village was where families would stroll down the dusty road to find their favorite Frontier Village character, a hot dog, or the cotton candy stand. The General Store, Silver Dollar Saloon, Trading Post and Marshall's Office were all located on this road and the gubnfighters held their legendary shootouts here. This birdhouse was recreated in the image of the Old Main Street and was designed with bird entrance holes and cavities to attract the Downy Woodpecker.
