The 106 foot tower contains 61 bells, from the smallest at 18 pounds, to a whopping 4730 pound largest bell. All cast bronze bells, cast in Holland, represent five full chromatic octaves. The small visitor center also contains an original clavier the actual instrument that is hammered to make the bells chime. Now controlled by computer programs, the bells still sound clear.
