A tyee boat is a specially designed rowboat used for tyee fishing in Campbell River, BC. This replica is a memorial/planter in front of the tyee club house. Tyee club membership is limited to those who have caught a 30 pound or more tyee salmon, from one of these rowboats, using 20 lb testline and a barbless hook, during "the season", usually a 4 week period at the end of the summer when the fish are not feeding.
