Check out the physics experiment that is Leon the Pendulum (named after the French physicist Jean Bernard Léon Foucault). This experiment demonstrates the rotation of the Earth. Installed in 1983 and located in the lobby of DEV, the Development Office Building (2901 N. I-35). This is the first successful installation of a Foucault Pendulum in Texas. The people who work here are very proud of Leon, and were very helpful in gathering information for this posting. Thank you Ms. Small. For more information check out (visit link)
