El poblado de Santa Trega (o Santa Tecla) ubicado en lo alto del monte del mismo nombre, cerca de la población de A Guarda (Pontevedra, España), domina la desembocadura del río Miño que sirve de frontera natural entre España y Portugal. Ocupa una gran extensión de la cual sólo se ha excavado una pequeña parte. Se descubrió en 1913, a consecuencia de las obras de la carretera y, desde entonces, se han llevado a cabo varias campañas de excavación y consolidación de los restos, además de haberse creado un Museo Arqueológico con las piezas halladas en el castro. En el momento de su máximo esplendor, entre los siglos I aC y I dC, debió albergar entre 3000 y 5000 personas.
